Why an on site car wash service is more affordable than in a fixed car wash location?

In this example, Joe's time is worth $15 per hour and the full service car wash takes him 15 minutes to drive there and 15 minutes to drive back, plus the 30 minutes at car wash on Saturday morning. The cost of the full service car wash was $15 plus $5 tip he gave. Add them all up and he was floored to find out how much that car wash REALLY cost him (The gas cost is not included). What payment types do you accept?

Am I prepared to return my leased car?

When you return your Lease vehicle, it will be inspected for excess wear. Since excess wear could mean additional charges, you should know the difference between “normal” and “excess” wear. Be sure to show a car in good shape. Remember, that excessively dirty cars are not acceptable to the lease company and they expect them to be returned clean. If fact, we are told that when cars are returned dirty, it usually means that somebody is trying to hide something and they pay extra attention to them after they have had them cleaned at your expense!!!

Why should I detail my car?

Possibly one of the least understood and most valuable services you can have done to your vehicle is a detail. You have a serious investment in your vehicle, and keeping it looking like new protects that investment. New and used car and boat dealers have known for years the value of cleaning up a vehicle before showing it to a prospective customer. The better it looks, the more likely it is to sell. You see a great looking car and assume it has been maintained well. On average, the resale value will increase by $500.00 to $1000.00! or saved when you return a car from the lease period. This is a great return for a small price, not bad considering the cost of our service. By now, you have probably found out that the many claims regarding "Permanent Glaze" and "Lasts Forever No Wax Shield" are simply not true. If you are serious about keeping your car beautiful, increasing the longevity, and commanding the HIGHEST POSSIBLE RESALE OR RETURN VALUE, then professional detailing is the way to go!

My automobile has a clear coat finish, does it still require waxing?

Absolutely!! Clear coat finishes need to be waxed, not only for protective qualities and added shine, but also for the mar resistant benefits. The biggest problem with clear coat finishes today is mar (scratch or scuff) resistance. These new finishes resist weathering better than ever; however, abrasive soil, sand, dirt, road debris, and other sources of abrasion can leave a clear top coat looking very dull in a short time. Waxing leaves a smooth film which helps prevent these minor abrasions from occurring.

How can I remove water spots from glass and paint surfaces?

Most common water spots are caused by mineral deposits. Vinegar and water does a great job at neutralizing these marks. We also recommend the use of theClay Bar for a safe and thorough method in removing water spots. It is also very important to wash off water spots as soon as possible. If the vehicle is left in the sun for prolonged periods of time (4 days or more), there is a good chance that the water spots will actually etch into the clear coat. This makes it very difficult, sometimes impossible, to remove the water spots if they have been on the paint for long periods of time.

What is the difference between a wax and a polish?

The terms wax and polish are used interchangeably today. Most waxes and polishes contain some mild cleaning agents (safe for clear coat finishes), which remove old wax, minor scratches and everyday oxidation. However, if your vehicle requires stronger cleaner, we recommend using a polishing compound (contains stronger cleaning agents) prior to waxing. As always recommended, test a small inconspicuous area and always follow instructions.

How often should I wax my car?

If you wash your vehicle every week, a wax should be applied at least three times a year to protect the paint coat. Waxing every 90-day is sufficient for vehicles exposed to the highest level of environmental elements (like UV Rays and acid rain).

Does car wax remove the top layer of paint or does car wax add a layer to the paint?

Applying a wax product to your vehicle's finish will not remove paint from your vehicle. Wax contains mild cleaning agents to remove waxy buildup and add a protective layer to your finish.

Is there a difference between liquid and paste wax?

No, there is no difference. These two options exists because some people prefer liquid wax due to the ease of applications, where others feel paste wax gives them better results.

What is overspray?

Overspray occurs when paint is being sprayed in the same area as your car. The paint is carried by the wind and lands on your car. Normally, this is something you can see right away, usually speckles of color on your car that will not rub oft. Sometimes, you may not notice until you try to wash your car, or try to use your wipers and you notice something stuck to the glass like little sand speckles. In South Florida many cars are damaged by overspray consistently from painters working on larger buildings and the winds carrying the paint. The longer the overspray stays on the car, the harder it gets and the more damage can be done. On today's clear coated cars the overspray can actually sink into the finish as it dries on. There is a chemical reaction that occurs, as the paint gets harder. This can cause the surface to have small indentations where the paint was. The Sooner we can this off the surface, the less damage to the finish. Our method of overspray removal is the most complete and least detrimental to your car's finish. We physically remove the overspray, rather than just flatten it by trying to buff it off the paint.

How often should I wax my boat?  

The easy answer is that the more you keep up with it, the better your boat will look and the longer it will maintain its' shine.  The fact is that wax and other sealers don't last more than a month or so under normal conditions.  The salt, water, air, and sun all break down these products rapidly.  The porous nature of your gel coat means that you have to keep at it constantly to try and slow down the oxidation.  It's much easier to do preventative maintenance like waxing periodically than it is to try and restore chalky or faded gel coat.  It all comes down to how much time, money, and effort you want to put into keeping your boat protected and looking good.  For practical purposes, we'd suggest a thorough wash and wax before launching in the Spring, then once mid-season, and if weather is cooperative, one last time before fall lay-up.

Does my boat need to compound?  

We know many people insist upon compounding their boat each season prior to waxing.  Our theory is that if you keep up with the actual waxing, you shouldn't have to compound your boat every year.  Compounding by its nature is abrasive and will strip off some of the wax that you have already built up previously.  A good test is to run your finger down one of the hull sides and/or other fiberglass surfaces. If you look at your finger and there is a moderate to heavy amount of chalk (do not confuse this with the salt you didn't wash off from your last trip) then compounding may be a good idea to bring back the shine.  We'd probably want to look at the boat to determine the extent of the work.  If your finger has little to no chalk on it, then we can most likely bring the shine right back with liquid carnauba or a cleaner wax.  In either case, we'd suggest additional applications of wax, whether prior to launch or staggered throughout the season, to keep your boat's gel coat protected and looking good. 

How to calculate square feet? (Pressure Cleaning Services)

When you are ready to order, you must measure your space to determine the amount of Square Feet you will clean.

Measure the length and width of the space in feet.  Multiply these two numbers together to get the square feet of the space.  For instance, if your space is 15 ft. by 25 ft., the square footage would be 375 square feet. 

How do I know you are being fair and not profiteering?
